What is TPU?

TPU - thermoplastic polyurethane elastomers.

Basic concepts:

1. The core group is urethane based polymer material, which is environmentally friendly and non-toxic.

2. It is solid at room temperature and can be plasticized by heating. Can be reused.

3. The hardness is shore 60 a ~ shore 80 D.

4. Good elasticity. TPU elastic modulus is 10~1000mpa.

5. The glass transition temperature is very low (usually it still has good physical properties at - 20 ℃).

It can maintain good high temperature resistance at 6 ℃.

7. High mechanical strength: the product has outstanding bearing capacity, impact resistance and shock absorption performance.

8. Good wear resistance, water resistance, oil ester resistance and solvent resistance

9. It will decompose quickly under the action of high temperature, light and humidity microorganisms in nature.
